Internationally acclaimed cosmetic doctor Dr Rashpal Singh to appear on C5’s ‘Rich House, Poor House’

Dr Rashpal Singh, a highly regarded cosmetic doctor along with his wife Kiran and their four children, will feature on Channel 5’s popular documentary series, ‘Rich House, Poor House’ this coming Sunday, May 28.

‘Rich House, Poor House’ is a captivating documentary series that explores the wealth divide in Britain, where families from opposite ends of the financial spectrum swap homes, budgets, and social statuses for a transformative seven-day experience.

In this particular episode, Dr Rashpal Singh and Kiran, owners of a successful cosmetics clinic in Middlesbrough exchange lives with Natalee, a single mother aspiring to build a career in the beauty industry, living on a weekly budget of £60.

Sharing his sentiments on appearing in the show, Dr Singh expressed, “Participating in the experiment has been an incredible experience and brought so many positives to both me and my family. The opportunity to support someone and help them to realise their dreams is truly rewarding.”

Throughout his medical career, Dr Singh has demonstrated a strong passion for providing opportunities to young people in Teesside and County Durham – from conducting outreach programs in local schools as a junior doctor to offering expert mentoring and training to aspiring aesthetic practitioners in the region, he has always been dedicated to giving back to the community.

Dr Singh attributes his drive to succeed to his formative years growing up in Middlesbrough. “Being brought up in Middlesbrough within a hardworking family, I witnessed first-hand the significance of a strong work ethic and the value of supporting one another. These early years shaped my approach to both my professional and personal life and being able to bring appreciation for what we have into my children’s lives and inspiring them to use their privileges to make a positive impact has been one of the key motivations behind participating in ‘Rich House, Poor House.’ I am grateful for the chance to inspire others through this experience.”

The experience certainly had a profound impact on Natalee, who reflected on the filming, saying, “Filming ‘Rich House, Poor House’ and meeting both Rashpal and Kiran has brought me an incredible amount of happiness and pride. It has completely changed my outlook on life. Living in Kiran and Rashpal’s shoes for a week taught me that money doesn’t come easily. They have both worked incredibly hard to get to where they are today, overcoming obstacles and personal struggles. I will forever be grateful for the experience and meeting them, and I wish them and their family nothing but luck and happiness.”
